- 1 DAD Brother C. William, moderator, E. Balicki. S' CLUB OFFICERS: A. Jarvis, M. Lemaux, Dads' Club lHE DADS' CLUB of St. Joe's was started in 1948 by Brother C. James, who was the first moder- ator of this organization. In 1954 he was succeded by Brother William who is the present moderator. The purpose of this organization is to help the Christian Brothers, to pro- mote good activities between the Holy Church and Youth, to continue reli ' gious and social affairs and thus offer to the members a medium of spiritual assist- ance and social contact. The Dads'C1ub has sponsored many t. ac ivities since its beginning for the renovation of the school and grounds. The Dads' Club also ,insures the con- tinuation ofa student at St.Joe's by pay- ing his tuition in the event of the death of his father. - In order to honor the athletically inclined, they sponsor a sports banquet annually. The Dads' Club arranges such activities as the Communion Breakfast annual picnic, field day and feather: parties. -86- 1954 Annual Sports Banquet.
