Student Hop at Hallowe'en Hop. Urbanowicz beats it out. HE SENIOR class of' '55 gave in all five open dances. We started in October with a I-Ial1owe'en hop, Septem- ber being too busy a month for a dance. In November we had the Turkey Trot and the good time had by those attend- ing prompted them to make the annual 'Christmas Dance an even greater occasion. The Christmas Dance second semester opened with a Valentine Dance. Finally the Senior Prom was held at Green- field Village. George 8: Sue.

'Xa ff,,,,,0,' I' 015, x X Fl' ' in X 4,4 K HE JUNIOR PROM was held January twenty- eighth at the Grand Ballroom of the Park Shelton Hotel. Music was provided by Joe Doto and his Detroiters. The Seniors, as usual, were guests of the Juniors. Faculty members appeared in dual capacity as chaperones and judges for the selection of the King and Queen. After the Grand March, led by the King and Queen, the school songs were sung. Finally, many groups set out for their favorite spots for a late snack. Music was supplied by bands composed mainly of our own students. These dances were held within the school, either in the gym or the cafeteria. The decorations were put up by the decorating committee under the direction of Brother Christopher. The dances are a school activity and as such proved to be ahuge success. Bernie 8: Annette.
