Foreword We, the Seniors and future Alumni of St. Joseph High School, take pride in presenting our yearbook - The Arrow for 1953. St. .Toseph's is one of the oldest and most respected high schools in the state of Michigan. Our teachers, The Brothers of the Christian Schools, have been training young men in the metropolis of Detroit since 1851 under their banner, Builders of Boys - Makers of Men. Since the first class of sixty one years ago, St. Joe graduates have gone forth into all phases of business, medicine, politics, and the Church. What impels the graduates of St. Joe's to strive for positions of such prominence? It is the constant desire to strive to better themselves for God and Country. In other words, it is the traditional spirit of St. Joe's which enlightens these graduates. We, the St. Joe's men of tomorrow, hope and pray that we may be able to at least equal the accomplishments of our models - the Alumni of St. Joseph's High School.
