THE STORY 01 7:95 ,V AR 1960 The year 196O, the most important year in our lives so far, is the year of our entry into the world-at-large as adults. After four years of tremendous ioy and deep sorrow, childlike fun and hard study, high hopes and fearful discouragement, we are ready to emerge into that world to make our small contribution or to take it by storm. Very significant then is the year 1960 in the lives of the graduates who have scaled the heights. Equally important is it to Juniors for it marks an ascent to that height soon to be claimed by Sophomores and, no matter how hard to believe, there'll come a day when Freshmen will attain their glory and fulf1ll- ment as we have ours this past year. Graduation and the Senior Prom, the Wash- ington trip and the May crowning, our last boat ride and last exam, the goal we attain or let slip by, the role we assume in our little world or the study we commence anew in the college of our dreams-certainly these tell the story of the year 1960 which can never be relived, except in memories-fond ones.
