Miss Delaney, Supervisor of the Mailing Department of the New York Telephone Company, hands stamps to mission representatives Patricia Mulroy, Marianne Macaluso, Marylyn Massey, Gail Rogers, Eileen Gallagher, Gertrude Guella, Elizabeth Gunhouse and Nancy Morelli. MISSICN CLUB The missions of Asia and Puerto Ric are in great need of food. clothes and funds St. Josephs students send material an Hnaneial aid to those less fortunate in thes needy regions. Each semester, all elasse: eleet 21 representative who attends a weekl meeting to plan future aetivities with the oiheers of the lvlission Cluh. Coupons ar' exchanged for value and stamps are col' leeted. The Telephone Company adjacent to the school is an outstanding supporter iv stamp eontribution. To the missionaries engaged in the challenging work of saving souls in foreign lands are sent elothes, hooks and magazines. The daily reeitations of prayer and the now and again saeriiiee of the priee of a pizza pie, movie or frappe for the missions is the spark that hursts into flame for the spread of the Faith at home and in foreign lands.

Keystone of Catholic Education RELIGION The most important phase of our education as Catholic high school students is a thorough religious trainingfa training that forms a true and finished character. Doctrine, Morals and Moral Guidance for practif cal Catholic living are studied in the Freshman and Sophomore years. Sacred Scriptures and Church History complete the fourfyear religion course for the Juniors and Seniors. Graduates leaving St. Joseph's are thus taught to think, judge and act constantly and consistently with right reason. Besides the study of the Fncyclicals taught by Father Johnston, Father Laurie and Father Sullivan, something new has been added-a PrefCana Conference conducted by Father Johnston for Senior classes, twice a week in the school auditorium.
