Keystone of Catholic Education RELIGION The most important phase of our education as Catholic high school students is a thorough religious trainingfa training that forms a true and finished character. Doctrine, Morals and Moral Guidance for practif cal Catholic living are studied in the Freshman and Sophomore years. Sacred Scriptures and Church History complete the fourfyear religion course for the Juniors and Seniors. Graduates leaving St. Joseph's are thus taught to think, judge and act constantly and consistently with right reason. Besides the study of the Fncyclicals taught by Father Johnston, Father Laurie and Father Sullivan, something new has been added-a PrefCana Conference conducted by Father Johnston for Senior classes, twice a week in the school auditorium.
