TO THE. FACULTY Your loving smiles made the sun seem brighter, They made each task at Seton lighter, Your words of wisdom were kind and true, And for your kindness we're grateful to you. We thank you, dear Sisters, for all you have done, For days of work and for days of fun. The memory of you we shall always hold ln our hearts, as we follow your standards of gold. ALMA MATER Seton Hill, dear Alma Mater ln our hearts will live forever. We, the class of '38, sing these words ever mindful of the joy, hope, and happiness that has been ours during our years at Seton Hill. l-lere we have lived under the guidance and inspira- tion of those who have sacrificed all to develop within us the ideals of Mother Seton-the virtues of kindness, purity, truth-all so necessary for the Catholic young woman today. Wher- ever We go, whatever we do, we shall be loyal to the standards set forth by our Alma Mater, by trying to live the life of a true Seton Hill Girl. But the memories of these cherished days-the self-sacrificing Sisters, our delightful classes, those dreaded ex- aminations, the longed-for cornroasts, the carefree weekends, the Hswishingn dances, the playful pranks-will hold our hearts forever to dear Seton l-lill. As we are about to leave the school which for four years has been our happy abode, we feel a sense of sad- ness for perhaps never again shall We be gathered together as the class of '38, Today as we stand on the thres- hold of our Alma Mater well-fitted to take our places in the world, our prayer is one of hope, that we shall be true and loyal standard bearers of the gold and white, and that we shall live always within the brilliant rays of Seton's guiding star.
