Gaily decorated food and game booths and a full-course spaghetti dinner were the main attractions. All in all, the entire day was a total success. 'W' 4 On November 2, the Spanish Departmentlunder the direc- tion of lVlrs. Brommer celebrated EI dia de la muerte lThe Day of the Deadl, the Spanish fiesta of All Souls' Day. A 'i Nl A ' 'U mf, TM -- i -rg: ,Mr BIG LITTLE SISTER On November 29, the Big-Little Sister Get- Together was held at Shakey's. Everybody R had a blast eating pizza, dancing, and singing. What a night! SINISTER HOUSE '19 -'H meta! 1' 1 Q X-R5 l JK 5 Tom Taggart's play, Sinister House, was presented on Nov- ember 17, under the direction of Nlrs. Weiland. The three act play consisted of an all female cast. The surprise ending thoroughly delighted the au- 9 dience. 6 'W' 2 il 3 giver. V , ..,g.g- -'. CHRISTMAS CONCERT The annual Christmas Concert was held on the evening of December 15th. With the combined efforts of Sister Maureen and Mrs. Carter, the girls put on a commendable performance. Old and new songs were sung by the high school ensemble and freshmen chorus. The day provided all in- volved with insights into problems faced in the classroom, as well as with some amusing moments. 'T ,.lf-na, ii? 7 'Z To provide a break in the winter dol- drums, intercession was held during the week of February 12 to 16. No classes were held, but everyone had a full sched- ule of activities, which included various at-school activities and camping and over- night trips. A FlNIAN'S RAINBOW On Nlarch 23 and 24, SJA presented Fini- an's Rainbow , a musical play in two acts, under the joint direction of lVlrs. Ann Weiland, Sr. Maureen Sauer, and lVlr. Fred Smith.
