Father Edward Dempsey came to Saint Joseph's as Chaplain soon after Christmas va- cation. Father was originally from Rochester, New York, but has spent the last few years at Saint Ann's Church in Lafayette. Since he came to the Academy, he has been teaching all the Religion classes five days a week, as well as English IV. Paula has exhibited her journalistic talent as Editor of the Shav- ings '54 and the Palladium '55, Her unselfish- ness in helping others was a factor in her re- ceiving the honor of May Queen. Patricia M. Anderson Tipton, Indiana Directress of the Choramarians .... her except- ional talent merited the Mother Gertrude Medal for Music in '52, As well as talent Pat has a sweet disposition and is liked by everyone .... Campus Queen attendant in '53, and the title of Campus Queen in '55 couldn't have been bestowed on a nicer or more deserving girl.
