Jr. High Pep Sauad The Junior High Pep Sauard of the 1980-81 school year is very spirired, With our sponsor Miss Cindy dei Casrillo and our Junior High Cheerleaders, we led our 7rh and 8rh grade reams on ro vicrory. This has been a year of exciremenr and a new experience for mosr of us. And now the pride of S.J.A., the St. Joseph Academy Marching Band! A Thunderous applause and the Band would srep onto the field for their half-time show. Led by their drum- majorette, Sandra Boker, spectacular shows were performed and highlight- ed by the very entertaining twirlers, Monique Crixell, Laurette Crixell and feature Twirler Bel-xi Mata. Basin Street Blues , Sweet Georgia Brown and Veracruz were sever- al of the band feature numbers this season. Adding spice to the shows were the ever-popular percussion section with their feature number, Russian Sailors' Dance. Our first-division band continued their musical year. Band students wander- ing throught the halls of St. Joe lools- ing for prospective buyers. Teachers, students and parents were all victims to sales pitches of the band members. All the fund-raising projects were to achieve the goal of the band-a trip to Washington, DC. All State tryouts, regional tryouts, solo and ensemble have helped to malse the 1980-81 season the best ever. March To Practice makes perfect! Class representatives Cess Besreiro, Delsi Mara, Pres.
