Different aspects . . of religion appeared this year at the Academy. Room 200 was redesigned and converted into a resource center. In this center students from senior mar¬ riage classes to freshman religion cours¬ es bund a variety of resource materials. Several students volunteered to spend their study halls in the resource « center, serving as librarians, checking out books and helping students to find the books they needed. The sophomore religion classes were divided into four quarters: Sacraments, Doctrine, Scripture, and Christian Ac¬ tion. During the quarter in which the girls studied Christian Action, they vis¬ ited the people at the Odd ellows Home once a week. The junior and senior classes were divided into semester courses. Mar¬ riage was required of seniors, and mo¬ rality was required of juniors. Optional courses included Philosophy I, Philoso¬ phy II, CCD, Religions of the World, New Testament, and Religion Through the Arts.
