Class Histor It was a cool, crisp September day in 1948 when we, the future class of '61, entered kindergarten en masse and started a series of surprises to the teachers that would continue throughout our school years, Our grammar school days sped by rapidly and once again we found ourselves green, young underclassmen, Eventually, even that passed, and as we climbed up through the grades we had P, A, dances, picnics, and numerous activities, all of which proved to be a ball, Before we even knew it we were Juniors and our long-awaited classrings had arrived, We shared the fun and work ofdecorating for the Prom and then the Junior girls entertained the Senior girls at the traditional Senior Tea. Vacation seemed almost non-existent, and we again returned to school, now as the mighty Seniors, We dashed headlong into our Senior activities and found that the football game that we attended at Syracuse was the most fun we'd ever had, Our Senior Play, House for Sale-Haunted, went into production and had everyone holding his sides from laughter, All too soon we found that this last year had come to an end, and as we proudly walked up to get our diplomas at Commencement, our suddenly saddened hearts were filled with many happy memories, Senior Census MOST POPULAR Phil Schoff, Laurie Tolfa SENIOR WOLF 85 SENIOR WOLFESS FRIENDLIEST Janet Winkelmann, Bill Starna Janet Fowler, Don Smith BEST LOOKING SMARTEST 20 Janet Haak, David Smith Sylvia Dodson, Peter Corso QUIETEST Cathy Warner, Ed Rivers CLASS CUT-UPS Janet Winkelmann Bill Starna Janet Fowler Ph11 Schoff BEST DRESSED BEST DANCERS Laurie Tolfa' Jim Failing Cheryl Dunton, Dave Dahlen Remember When Jimmy F.
