Treasurer A VAGABOND SONG Bliss Carman There is something in the autumn that is native to my blood Touch of manner, hint of mood, And my heart is like a rhyme With the yellow and the purple and the crimson keeping time. There is something in October sets the gypsy blood astir, We must rise and follow her When from every hill of Flame She calls and calls each Vagabond by name. The bright leaves of autumn rustle in the sleepy trees and fall restlessly to their solt earthly beds where they await the cold fury ol winter, so the Junior Class awaits their trying Senior year. Proudly they wear their class rings of solid gold which bear the school seal on top wih the class year and crest on the sides, This Class of '45 salutes Carmen Giaquinto and l-loward Cole, its fellows in Navy blue. Other outstanding members of the class are Walter Davis, who is both president of the Student Council and vice-president of Dramatic Club, George Kraft and Luigi lVlontoni, who are both players on the Varsity Basketball team. Next year Rita Papa, Rose Triumpho, Janet Robinson, and Cynthia Williams will all be Varsity Cheerleaders. Like migrating ducks the Junior Class huddle together to carry on For another year.
