Don't Get No Respect What would happen if the custodians disappeared for a week? Makes you think, doesn't it! Day-to-day, we can't think of a more important job at the Academy. Thank you, custodians; we do appreciate you. Our Men in Green are: Robert Towle, head custodian and adviser to the bowling league; Warren Penniman, custodian for Ranger Hall and the Breezeway; Wesley Locke, keeps Colby Hall spotless; Bernie Page, tends to Severance and Fuller Halls; Gordon Willey, takes care of the gym; Toni Handy, cleans the first floor of Streeter; Rachel Norway, housekeeper for the dorms; and Van Culver and Ralph Aussiker, bus drivers. In addition, Howard Churchill takes care of heating and plumbing problems, Michael Bugbee is the Academy's electrician and Mel Pierce takes care of all general maintenance on campus. Above: Wesley Locke, vacuums the rug in Mrs. Currier's office; Mr. Howard Churchill (Top Right) the Academy's plumbing and heating man, helps Mr. Jerry Peck (Right), maintenance supervisor construct a janitors closet in Streeter Hall. 18

Food For Thought Students sometimes make jokes about our school food, but when we're in college we'll wish we could come back to it. The dedication of Mr. Aja and his staff brings us good, hot food, every day of the school year. In addition, before a holiday the food service gets together with the Culinary Arts students to prepare a veritable feast of fresh goodies for us, a really special treat found in almost no other school. Deborah Bengston, general kitchen help and salad-maker; Dawnna Clifford, first cook; Janice Gui-bard, salads and server; Jacquiline Hackett, baker and server; Elisa Handy, kitchen help; Patricia Hudson, supper preparer and general help; Madeline Moulton, works with Culinary Arts students; Tammy Nelson, cashier and general; Hictorine Osborne, breakfast maker and general; Regina Payette, Cook and general; Marjoice Reed, bookeeper and cashier. Top Left. Mrs. Aja keeps an eye on some toast for breakfast; Left: Mrs. Janice Guibard stops for a snack but usually works on the salad bar; Above: Cashier Tammy Nelson: we all know her face but perhaps not her name; Top Right: Mrs. Madeline Moulton cleans up after working with students in Culinary Arts. 19
