The boy with a unique slant on life, is Paul, our class philosopher and psychologist, who is always undertaking to make possible the impossible. While forever sharpening his wit on his unsuspecting classmates, he is one among us who we know will reach any goal he sets for himself. Of course that’s “in general,” Paul! When Lancaster lost a freshman we gained a swell girl, and she has proved to be a good sport. Her blond locks have been envied by many of the girls. One of the most promising athletes of the class — Paul was outstanding in football, baseball, and basketball. Paul made a dignified President of the Student Council but he loved his fun as well as all the rest of us 47’ers. Ask any Freshman who Paul is — they all know Paul. WILL: Paul Corliss has agreed to share his ability to have and to hold with Danny and Daisy. The musician of our class, Gloria, has advantages in many fields. A debate is never quite complete without her, and she is indispensable to the band and orchestra. Gloria, we know your nimble fingers and lovely voice will forever aid you in keeping your life in pleasant harmony. WILL: Gloria Creighton leaves Pat 'Hamilton lo do their cute little piano duets alone. Always cheerful and always considerate best describes Chris. Her efforts have brought about many a well decorated hall for our dances. Whenever you need any help go to Chris — she is always willing. WILL: Christine Douglas hopefully wills her ability to keep out of trouble to Barb Baxter. 84 Sidney Street New Bedford, Massachusetts Band (4), All State (4); Orchestra (4); Refreshment Committee (4); Honor Student (4). Tony and his clarinet have engraved themselves on the musical history of St. J. A. He is one of our veterans. He expects to go to college next year to take up work in hotel managing. WILL: Intone Tonies wants to keep his magic clarinet for Susan to practice on. We doubt that anyone could play it as he does anyway. DAVID BICKFORD FRANKLIN 5 Mt.
