Senior Week Activities Autumn, with its profusion of color, pewter skies and the voice of prevailing winds, is a prelude to one of the most cherished occasions, strengthening the bonds of friendship among classmates. These precious moments we'll never forget . . . Precious moments, indeed they were, which made up the great tradition in Saint JOl1ll,S-Olll' Senior YVeek. At this time we all shared in the effort which made our week a success. The Senior Closed Retreat, an individ- ual encounter with Cod embarked upon at the end of one stage of our lives, the dignified formality of the procession into our Academy Chapel for the commence- ment of Senior Week, where impressive of our theme, Unity,v the entire student body participated in the singing of Holy Mass, the kindred disposition of hearts and minds which made each day worthy of remembrance . . . all these and much more are mirrored in the deep, rich red of the garnet ring, its gleaming stone rep- resenting the Christian principles which we shall, with God's help, uphold all through our lives. Our Senior Ring-it will always be the symbol of all that St. Iohn's means to us.
