We seem to lose the truth in our everyday lives, in our schools, homes, and places of work. For Cod has been forgotten by many, and Cod is truth. The Church seeks to restore our conception of the truth through the instrument of Catholic education. Ed- ucation aims at developing the full person, physically, intellectually and spiritually. As Catholics, we have the living truth which is Christ. Our high school years have deepened our awareness of Christ working in our lives. VVith this knowledge comes love and the will to serve. This is the truth, continually and unknowingly sought. It is this that makes us free.

The first annual Fathers' Club Communion Breakfast was held in October. At the Communion of the Mass, Fr. Gonzalez brings Christ to His members. Club Since its establishment in 1957, the Fathers' Club of St. Iohn's Villa Academy has accomplished an inconceivable amount of good. Annually, a number of scholarships are awarded by the Fathers' Club to deserving elementary school graduates. These fathers also participate actively in the Bazaar each year. They sponsor the Communion Break- fast and lend eager, helping hands in pre- paring the stage for our Concert in May, not to mention the tireless efforts which go into each Wednesday night's Bingo. We are very grateful for all that the members of our Fathers' Club have done for us. ,. A11 as .......... fy' M. a,,, , .,..,,-.s ,,,, M. Following Holy Mass and Communion parents and honored guests enjoy the Communion Breakfast. Reverend Father Mescall of Immaculate Conception parish addresses the group. Boro President, Maniscalco, seated at Father's right, honored the occasion with his presence.
