ATU ATLl's first game against DKD was symbolic of ATLl's season in general: a lot of promise. but no fulfillment. ln that game. ATU jumped to a 14-4 lead and was in total control at the half. 22-14. as All-Star Karen Franzen scored 19 points. The trouble started early in the second half as Franzen and Carolyn Harris fouled out quickly. The dam burst. and ATU fell. 36-31. Little else went right for the sorority as the team often found itself victims of the opposition's accurate shooting or its own mistakes. Despite the winless season. ATU main- tained great enthusiam. determination and sportsmanship in every court appearance.
