The Right Reverend Monsignor Joseph W. Grundner pro- motes the work of Catholic education at St. Iohn's in his par- ish with priestly zeal and fatherly interest. His familiar fig- ure is seen at all activities: in the Church, celebrating mass for our special occasions, hearing confessions before the first Friday of every month, officiating at the senior ring ceremonyg in the school, distributing the quarterly reports, attending the annual play, encouraging us by his presence at all our scholas- tic and social functions. In early October of this year, Father Gallagher came to St. John's. Through the weekly religion classes he has tried to prepare us to face the challenge of the years ahead.
