We all have memories of our childhood, that family vacation, a helping hand from your mom or dad in a time of need, a perfect sunset after the picnic in the park, that special friend you screamed at one minute and hugged the next, and soon high school will become a memory- a vivid and powerful memory that encompasses a world of feelings. As we experience these moments, days, and years let us be mindful that all too soon these, too, will be gone, only to be cherished in the heart. The friends, the games, the hours of homework, the victories, the defeats, all blend together to form memories of our high school years. We always seem to want time to fly by - how often do we say can't wait til summer, can't wait til graduation, I wish Christmas would hurry, wait til I become a senior - and all of a sudden the time is here and passed and you wonder how the year went by so quickly. So, be still, take time to enjoy each precious moment, and make this time together a special memory to be recalled with joy and laughter. We hope that when you look back upon our past few years together that you will recall a time of learning. Learning not only about education, but also about growth, leadership, and friendship. And rnost of all, we hope that you have learned of love - the love that comes from working together, sharing with one another, and giving of yourself without reservation. Love is a blessing, it is something that everyone has, but something that we too often keep within ourselves. Love can only be a memory, after it has been given away. The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or touched, but are felt in the heart . . . memories. D D CATIO The 1985 Yearbook Staff is very proud to dedicate this Yearbook to Thad Greer. During his 29 years of teaching he has brought many honors to our school and to himself.
