V Wrestlers ost 7-1 Record The 1968-69 ,junior varsity wrestling team opened the season by defeating Maumee. This big win provided the momentum that carried the squad to a very successful 7-1 season record. In some of their more impressive victories, the JV's overcame formidable foes from Cardinal Stritch and Macomber High Schools. During these hotly contested battles, such stalwarts as Tom Heilman, Jim Hawes, andllim O'Donnell provided the margin of victory. That several JV's made varsity appearances attests to the caliber of their wrestling. Undoubtedly many of these grapplers will appear as regulars on next ear's varsit roster. Frosh all at Seasonfs nd Dermie Pinciotti rips through another After a slow start, the freshman wrestlers finally entered the winning column against F asset. This win began a 6-match streak which charmed the frosh to the season's end. The high point of the season took place as the wrestlers defeated St. Francis-the first freshman team to do so. Finally the grapplers ended their campaign by subduing both Springheld and Lake during the last week of the season.
