Titans Place Second In Blue Division The 1968 St. John's Varsity football team completed a successful campaign, finishing second in the City League Blue Division with a 4-1 record. An early season win over Wood- ward, followed by impressive division victories over Waite, Libbey, and Start, kept the gridders in contention for the City League crown until the final day of the season. A non-league win over Cardinal Stritch raised the Titan 'victory total to five for the year. St. John's placed two men on the All-City squad: Tim Cassidy and Mike O'Reilly. jun- ior Don Coleman was a second team selectiong while Dan Martinez, Tom Cole, joe Imhof, and John Boellner received honorable mention. Three Titans were named to the City League All-Academic team: joe Rideout Chonorary captainj, Mike O'Reilly, and Rick Corbett. Finish 4-7 In League Don Colemanjinds daylight.
