But ideas are useful inasmuch as they contribute to the de velopment both of oneself and of others. Unless these ideas are com municated to The minds of others, they become stagnant and die only to make way for other sterile thoughts. Thus what might have been a force for good was wasted. This is True because so many men lack the ability to express themselves, conveying ideas through speech. By the development of oral expression the Forenthespic Society makes its con- tribution to the whole man. The Society sponsors constructive training in dramatics and debating, and, for sheer expression, the annual Talent Night. This Society is the practical implement of the knowledge gained in speech class.
