OUR PRINCIPAL Our Principal, Father Thomas Kuhn, was born in Tiffin, Ohio, where he completed his elementary and secondary education. He obtained his B. A. degree in philosophy, while attending St. Meinrad's Seminary in St. Meinrad, Indiana. Father Kuhn then spent four years at Mt. St. Mary's of the West in Cincinnati. His studies in education were made at this time in connection with the Athenaeum of Ohio in Cincinnati, and he received his M. A. degree in philosophy from that institute in l957. Shortly after his first appointment, to our parish, in June l957, Monsignor Carl F. Reineck appointed him Principal of Delphos St. John's High School. Besides his duties as Principal, Father Kuhn is also Director of Athletics and instructor of apologetics for the senior class. This year Father has also filled the capacity of Director of Dramatics for the senior play. OUR SCHOOL SECRETARY Mrs. Henry Weisgerber, an alumna of St. John's, is the high school secretary. She keeps the school office in good running condition, by her efficiency and cheerfulness. 6

Cre 57 TION He has provided for our material welfare, too. Monsignor has built schools so that there are better oppor- tunities for a good Catholic education. Monsignor Reineck also realized the need for wholesome recreation. Itwas he who made it possible for us to enloy football, basketball, our gymnasium, and all the other sports and facilities we are now enioying. We feel priviliged to dedicate this yearbook to Monsignor for the numerous benefits that he has afforded us . 5

FATHER ALBERT OTTENWELLER was born in Stanford, Montana, on April 12, 1916. He received his A. B. degree at the Catholic University. He was ordained priest at Holy Rosary Cathedral in Toledo, June 18, 1943. After a summer assignment at St. Mary's, Sandusky, he was made assistant at St. .lohn's, Delphos, and has taught in the high school for thir- teen years. He teaches the iunior boys' religion class. R6ligiOn Teachers FATHER RICHARD MILLER wasborn in Lima in 1925. He attended school at St. Rose parish. He received his A. B. degree at St. Meinrad's Seminary andwas ordained at Holy Rosary Cathedral, Toledo, in 1950. He came to Delphos in 1955 from St. Peter 81 Paul's Parish, Sanduskyfand now teaches the junior girls' religion class.
