Ella Young Joey Grice Secretary T reasurer Life is a winding road that we all must take in order to encounter maturity. Mistakes are made, some remembered; others forgotten. Throughout our years at St. John’s we have been a unified class. When we entered as freshmen, we were scared and uneasy; we had taken a step higher to reach maturity. However, our uneasiness was shattered when we won several pep rallies and were named the Most Spirited Class of 1983-84. We placed second in the mural competition that year. We made a great first impression to the upperclassmen and intended for it to last forever. Our sophomore year we won the float competition. As Juniors, we won the float competition again with the theme “The Roof Is On Fire.” We won the Powder Puff game with a 6 to 2 victory over the Seniors. Then we were only months away from our first Junior-Senior Prom. As Seniors, we came back to St. John’s excited, happy and determined to make our last year the best. We were the leaders and intended to take control. At the first pep rally, we dominated with vivid cheers. In the Powder Puff game we upset the Juniors and became the first class in a long time to win two consecutive Powder Puff games. We have changed a lot since our freshman year. However, through it all we have remained a unified class. Now we await the future with sadness and anticipation. Michael Scipio President Judy McCall Vice-President 17
