Friday night, October 8, 1976, the Homecoming game for the Blue Devils was a special time for SJH students. During the excitement of halftime, Beth Lowder was crowned our 1976 Homecoming Queen and Lou Hart was honored as Football Sweet- heart. The Sophomore Class won the trophy for the most outstanding float. The themes for the floats were: Happy Days - Sen- iors; The Quest - Juniors; The Magi- cian - Sophomores; The Bionic Devil - Freshmen. To top off the excitement of Homecom- ing '76 the Blue Devils stabbed the Demons (Lugoff - Elgin) with a score of 34 to 2. 13
