I)ecficaiecf Uo . . . This dedication honors all teachers at St. John's High School because their hospitality and friendship restored the weary traveler on his way and their help and guidance was always given un- stintingly. This quote from Desmond Donnally uses words which picture the faculty correctly. To show our gratitude to one teacher at St. John's, for your gentleness which inspires gentleness in others; for the trust, respect and consideration you have given us as young adults; for the high value of honesty which you have illustrated and then implanted in us; for your friendly smile that always greeted us whether things went right or wrong; as an expression of our love for you, we dedicate the 1966 BLUE DEVIL to you Miss Isabel Entzminger Miss Entzminger is a teacher, a friend, and understands the problems of a younger genera- tion. 4

As underclassmen we were not allowed the privileges we had hoped for upon reaching high school. However, in time we realized that age brings responsibility and acceptance of re- sponsibility provides privileges. As juniors we found school more difficult but more exciting. The Junior-Senior was the high light of our year, and we worked hard to make it a great success. These years have been fun, and the time has passed all too rapidly, but now we feel ready and eager to face a rapidly changing world. 3

In the years that you have been here at St. John's, you have influenced the lives of many students. Cheerfully you took on many tasks above and beyond the call of duty. The plays you directed; the chorus of several years ago which gave pleasure to many are but a small part of your contributions to our school. Your Christmas and Easter programs were highlights of the year. Your willingness to hold coaching ses- sions after school hours for shaky stu- dents who saw little hope of attaining the goal of graduation is remembered with deep appreciation. And the research themes! Oh, the research themes!! We cherish your friendship and, re- cognizing your efforts to bring out the best in us, hope we will never be a dis- appointment to you. 5
