THE 1960 BLUE DEVIL FOREWORD The sands of time have shifted. This, the Blue Devil for 1960, marks the end of an- other phase in our lives. As we bid good- bye to these hallowed halls that have meant so much to us in the past five years, let us pause to look back on some of the activities and organizations that played such a large part in our lives during that time. Perhaps at a future date when we pick up this book it will bring back pleasant memo- ries and thus serve as a connecting link with our past, embodied with pleasure and a rich heritage. We, the Senior Class of 1960, proudly dedicate the 1960 Blue Devil to Mrs. Cora Taylor. In her capacity as secretary she has shown to us her great love for St. John's with faithfulness, efficiency, and help- fulness at all times. The cheerful hello that greets us as we pass through the office is only one of the many kindnesses that she manages to squeeze into her busy routine of telephoning and typing. Thank you, Cora, for your patience, guidance, friendship, and faithful service. 3 FACULTY Mr. G. C.
