Those golden days of happiness When our cup was full to the brim Are slowly fading, leaving us To meditate, as they grow dim. But, behold, a new vista of life Has revealed itself to our gaze: New plans, golden opportunity, Higher aims for the coming days. If there is anything in our past life, Any deed that would cause us regret, Let’s bury it in hopes for the future; In striving anew, this deed we’ll forget.
