Her steadiness has set a good example to the laggards among us; her serenity has had a calming effect upon the hot heads; while her independence and true worth have made us all her friends. Charles Brown’s long suit is history. When every other member flunked, he could be depended on to recite the entire lesson and redeem us from utter disgrace. We confidently expect him to write an American History some day, which will be the last word in authenticity.
