Women's House Council Guides Dormitory Life m.,T---.-,- ...M .li . Life in the women's dormitory was sparked by the Women's House Council. Projects in- cluded the fall Big Sis-Little Sis party, Mothers' weekend and stpecial floor projects. Officers were Diana retke, chairperson, Kath Mueller and Barbara Bass, secretary, and Cheryl Koschmann, treasurer. Men's House Council Concentrates On Projects . The 1977 lVIen's House Council kept themselves busy throughout the dyear. lVIeet- ings were calle when need- ed, while members worked on several projects. Hours Of Hard Work Rewarded To produce a quality yearbook that re- flects the life at St. John's College, that Feortrays our Johnnie Spirit, and t at promotes SJC were the main goals of the 1976-77 Johnnie Year- ook Staff. The staff's activities for the year included attending a Yearbook Wor shop in September, sponsoring a 24-hour Rock- -Thon to raise addi- tional funds, and touring the Josten's American Yearbook Com'-pargf plant in Topeka. Editor KathIy ei eman was assisted by Gus Hi l, photo editorp Diane Richardson, business manager, and Paula Vogts. Sponsor, Dr. Eu- gene Brott and Susan Loudenburg, kept the staff on schedule. Many Projects Keep StuCo Busy Student Council's members are elected by the classes they represent. Their goal and pur- ose is to represent the student body in all 'acets of campus life. Among their projects were freshman orientation, monthly movies, cultural activities, intramural athletics, bloodmobile visits to campus, a hayride, and their homecoming display. They also conduct- ed dances and various other activities for stu- dents.
