With three lettermen returning from the 1956-57 squad, prospects for a winning basket- ball season were not favorable. The pre-sea- son forecast was accurate, the Johnnie cagers won but two of their l9contests. The schedule was a formidable one, including Coffeyville and Arkansas City junior colleges which were ranked in the top five of the nation's iunior colleges throughout the season. Highlight of the season was the creditable showing of the team in the All-Concordia Tournament at St. Paul, Minn.
