9 Jvfrfh Christian Dogma. Moral, Wcarsliip, Church History. a de- tailed study ol' the Mass, and in our last year Christian Apologetics and modern problems in religion. Religious guidance is given by each home room teacher who acts as adviser to the members of his class. Personal chats after school hours prove very helpful. Brother F. Leo, li.S.C. conducts the course in vocational guidance for all Freshmen. Most popular religious club is the Archconfra- ternity of the Divine Child which holds monthly discussions and sponsors the Vocation Day Mass. Membership in the Catholic Students Mission Crusade and the Sodality are also encouraged. Periodically Catholic leaders address the upper classes on current religious problems. The religious program is completed in the fourth year when we make the closed retreat at Manresa-onfthe-Severn. This year it was our good fortune to have as retreat master liather Louis A, Xwheeler, whose gentle manner and soul-inspiring conferences will long be rememberd, Rising at 6:30 the day at Manresa is filled with religious activities. The day begins with Morning Prayer followed by Mass and Communion, Periodically throughout the day the bell summons us to chapel for such services as the Rosary. Stir tions of the Cross, Meditation, or conferences by lfatlifgr W'heeler. To the good Christian Brother. our teacher. and to many priests we have met at St. johns during our high school years we offer our sincere expressions of thanks. They have been our constant inspiration. May our lives reflect the good principles they have inspired by their example.
