Spiritual Director, Athletic Director, Director of Activities, you name it - that was Father Hart. To what better businessman could a junior bring his Prom troubles, a senior, his activity plans, and a ballplayer, his excuses? The real meaning of a friend is one who gives of himself, one who can be trusted with the most intimate prob- lems. Father Hart was such a friend to all of us. Reverend MICHAEL F. As Christ is to the Catholic Church, so is the pastor to his parish. XVith each year spent in St. john's we have come to know our pastor, Monsignor YValtcr H. Hill, in a more intimate way. Al- though his concern is mainly with the financial and spiritual well being of the parish, he cannot he separated from our student activities. The name, Monsignor Hill, is almost synonymous with St. Iohnis. Right Reverend Monsignor WALTER H. His youthful appearance and interests immediately made him a friend of all. His enthusiasm as ath- letic director of the grammar school and moderator of the C.Y.O. team won for him the Whole-hearted sup- port of the student body. JAMES H.
