Catholic Action Club With Mr, Francis Hopkins as its mentor, the Catholic Action club has over the years, built up its reputation as one of the school's more lively or- ganizations, till at present its many rewarding facets are almost taken tor granted. Besides its routine business of dis- cussing the current trends in religious spirit, the club is particularly dear to the hearts of the seniors, since it an- nually sponsors a Farewell Dance, the proceeds ot which go to buy each grad- uate a Sunday missal, as well as plan- ning and serving the Communion Breakfast each Recollection Day. 2l

The Student Council Under the expert direction of Sister Mary Virginia, the Council, this year accomplished more and took a more prominent place in school affairs than ever before. Typical of the forward- thinking program which drew applause on all sides, was the superb Parents Day, more professionally carried out and successfully managed than ever before.
