Since this is our heri- ' l h ve tage we dedicate our yearbook to the princip es we a b tau ht in our Catholic education: namely, that een g the way of peace, brotherly love, and understanding, lies in selfless devotion and prayerful emulation of the way of our Lord. Right Reverend Monsignor Walter H. Hill Pastor There are associations with some wherein one is the reci- pient of so much that one can never hope to equate the extent of indebtedness. Monsignor Hill's alliance to the school as he has labored to make it the finest possible-spiritually, materially, and socially, has made each of us the richer by one very fine friend. 9 Bart Gelormino, Marian Wagner and Father Boyle put the finishing touches on social doings for the seniors. Reverend Thomas J. Boyle DIRECTOR OF ACTIVITIES As our new spiritual modera- tor, Father Boyle has set high standards for all our extra-cur- ricular activities. His quiet, steady manner and omnipresent good humour have smoothed the way forthe lasting satisfac- tion we've accrued in all phases of school life, from sports to socializing. I0 Two of Fr. O'Donnell's ardent admirers linger after school to chat with him. Spiritual moderator of the grammar school, and enthu- siastic supporter of all high school affairs, Father O'Don- nell has endeared himself to each and every student, in rec- ord time. His unassuming ben- evolence and gracious aid have made him a welcome addition to St. John's. Reverend Richard A. The demands of running a grammar school, high school, and a convent have yet to so tax the patience and ingenuity of Sister Bernard, that she couldn't lend a sympathetic ear to an individual prob- lem, or take time to guide, wisely and kindly, the decisions of those who sought her aid.
