Sister Paulette...For the past five years Sister Paulette has been a member of our faculty. She has contributed much to our education by forming our com- mercial course. Sister also is the custodian of supplies and here we see her cleaning the book room. Educational Guides Who Prepare Us... Sister Adala...Sister Adala is very talented when it comes to music. Besides playing a few instruments, she directs our choral class and the choir. Her other talents are teaching math and being advisor for our Pep Club. Sister Aquinata . . . Sister never seems to run out of energy or ideas to raise money for the missions. Along with that, Sister teaches math and drafting. Sister Rita...Sister Rita has added many books to our library in the last three years. We can also see her teaching Latin and taking care of the office at noon.

To A Most Gracious Sister. . . Teacher and Friend. . . We Humbly Dedicate , 0ur 1959 Viannite. . . i We have chosen our dedicatee, Mother Verona, for her zealous qualities which the whole high school has come to know and appreciate, especially the senior class. Her patience, a virtue never to be underrated, has been tried more than once and she tries to face all situa- tions with a friendly smile. Understanding and knowl- edge go hand in hand when it comes to Mother Verona. She understands our many problems and through knowl- edge and experience has the ability to cope with the many day to day situations which occur. Her extreme friendliness is a quality which we hold as something precious. Groups of students congregate in her office every day and she always finds time to listen to their sometimes wild chatter. Possessor of a wonderful sense of humor, Mother Verona carries it out to the fullest, especially in regard to the senior play. Just one of us, is the term heard many times from the senior class, and a truer term was never spoken. We, the graduates of '59, promise that we will remain true to the ideals she has fostered in us . . . God has been very merciful to have placed such a servant in our midst. Signed . . . Seniors of '59 Class of '59 9 On St. Valentine's day, the seniors sur- prised Mother Verona by decorating 4. her office with their messages of affec- tion. .as 10
