With the loss of Bommarito and Swacher, the Vianney Hockey team had an uphill battle from the start. Coach Bro. Grass was looking forward lo a .500 season. With Gary Haas and Bill Higgins, picking up the scoring slack and goalie Ray Stock shutting the door to potential scorers, the team closed out the season with a 18-6-2 record. Defen- sive strength was given the team by jim Geringer and Nlark Wittich.
