Talon Staff Starts Early, Meets Deadlines The Talon staff of 15 was faced with one major difficulty this year: lack of experience. Only Editor- in-chief Neil Fiala and Co-editors Larry Knickman and Mike Kalinoski had any previous knowledge of creating a yearbook. To remedy this situation, much time was spent during the summer learning the basics of a good yearbook and establishing the foundation on which to build this year's yearbook. As the school year finally rolled around, the Talon staff was well on its way, having already completed all the layouts, and needing only a few minor adjustments and the help of the photography club to complete this year's volume. Father Piekarski was the moderator, as he had been the previous year. He handled all negotiations and made sure all the deadlines were met. A special word of thanks goes to Mrs. Fern O'Neil who helped the staff get it all together. I We Top Right: Father Piekarski, Yearbook Mod- erator 1973-74. Middle Left: Bonzo and the boys work hard.
