Fall Sports Well the Vianney Griffins opened their l'772 season with several question marks, the most notable one heing this year's offense's lack of depth. However. Vianney showed a hall control offense, and it was an offense which led the area throughout most of the season in points scored. The Griffins finished with a total of 280 points. an average of 28 points per game. compared to the school record of 282 set in l97O. The defense showed it was tough averaging 6.5 points a game while posting six shut-outs tying a mark set by that 1970 team, a squad which finished IO-0.
