The present expansion of facilities at Saint John Vianne is ckjc to the efforts of the Arcli- bishop of Los Angeles, James Francis Cardinal Mclntyre. In his zeal to provide the children of our archdiocese with the proper religious and educational background. Cardinal Mclntvre has tirelessly worked for the enlargement of ihe Catholic School System. His Eminence has both encouraged and fostered the establishment and growth of numerous Catholic schools in the archdiocese. Cardinal Mclnt)re s endless endeavors to expand Catholic education ha e earned for His Eminence the title of Father of Education. Gratitude shoidd rise up in our hearts to Cardinal Mclntyre, for it has been through his per- sonal efforts that the new Saint John Vianney has become a growing reality.
