U HERE IS A SHIP THAT ALWAYS NEEDS MORE THAN ONE PILOT Upon entermg our ,Tumor year we were a stunned group of students too old to be Sophs and not mature enough for Semors And so as we met on that fu-st day of school Ln September 1956 we were henceforth called .Tumors We have all shared the fr1endsh.1p of all 1n our class for several years Tlus fr1endsh1p soon enveloped all new comers such as Judy Re1d1nger and others and we marched forward through the halls of our Alma Mater to face the future un afra1d Thts year was one of mtense study topped w1th loads of fun Outslde of school the dances parues clubs and good umes seemed to hold us m a mystlc spell through whlch only one word could penetrate exams Though we d1d fret threaten to Just d1e, we fmally broke down and stud1ed Exams came and went leavmg very few casualues 1n the1r path Now that the tcebreaker the Salute to Semors the mlxer the Prom, and all our games and assernbhes are pleasant mernor1es of the past, we w1sh we could do ll all over agam IUNIORS United we stood through '56 and oninto '57, ' , ' I Q I ... 28
