Oggfdfg Our library, as it is now in its new quarters and with its many improve' ments, is a rnost pleasant place in which to read or study. A number of students were privileged to help in marking books, prepare ing posters and other displays for the library. During Catholic Book Month a special exhibit was put up. Books by Catholic authors, book jackets and appropriate posters inviting students to read Catholic books were most attractively arranged under the direction of the Librarian. cien ce The Science lab with its test tubes and flasks, Bunsens and ring stands, its ia- miliar and not too distasteful odors of hydrogen sulfide, and all the other chein- icals and gases, will be a memory cher- ished by many senior students when they think back with nostalgia of their many hours spent in working out vcri- ous experiments. Our helpful and congenial teachers are hoping that some day their former pupils will come back, perhaps as famous scientists, physicists, chemists ore fwhat have you? IQQQCA Have you ever suffered from stage fright? Who hasn't at one time or other in his life? This feeling of panic, nervousness when speaking before an audience and other peculiarities and defects in pronunciation and enunciation receive efficient corrective treatment in the speech classes which seniors at St. lohn's are privileged to attend. -264

The delightful story revolves around the modernizing of Ienny, a little girl from the country, who comes to stay at the rectory with her aunt, who is the housekeeper. Father Moynihan, the little Irish pastor, contributes rnuch to the success ot this rollicking comedy.
