Wanalre You had better watch out you had better not pout you had better not cry I am telling you why Santa Claus may return next Christmas Santa arrived Friday afternoon Dec mber 19 to play a leading role in the Christmas Carol Minstrel sponsored by the senior boys Varied and latent talents were unearthed when Bob Martens and Larry Kohlberg looked about for willing and gifted participants for a minstrel With their ever ready wit and humor Frank Hoffmann and Ollie Benkert were the first to offer their service as end men They were soon followed by loe Decker George Hrdlrcka Ioe Rositz and Phil Hurst Ray Fischer con Hay Tenholder Bill Grng r Rudie Slomer Edward Marlotte Larry Kohl berg and Bob Martens vied with singers of radio fame Phil Hurst and lack Reynolds enlivened the program with their accordion selections and Donald Franklin with his melodies on the electric guitar The program concluded with the old familiar yet ever new Christmas Carols as Santa Claus Hack Rottler senior class president? made his appear ance The program was indeed a merry introduction to a merry Christmas and a glorious hohday season l t t lack Rottler imperscnates Santa Claus 26 O O 'U K tributed his distinctive touch in his characteristic Fischer style. , l I 9 , l . , '
