Va Dy K f SYLVESTER LES HELFfLeft End Les was often pulled out of the line to punt, and he turned in many a fine game as a pass receiver. It will not be an easy task for his successor next fall to carry on his tradition. AMBROSE SNORT VAN DYKE-Left End Snort used his height to good advantage at all times. IEROME COMY HELFARight Halfback Comy could smash the line and circle the ends for long substantial gains. He put the team in fine positions to score, and when he tucked the ball under his arm, he was very hard to overtake. Comy was a good listener and readily submitted to the instruc tions of the captain and coaches Ierome was a good passer and the hardest tackler on the team ROBERT BOB SIEBERS Right End Bob a tall rangy fellow could spear a pass with one hand and run for many valu able yards Very few plays got around his end and he thrilled many a spectator with his keen blocking and tackling Bob was a capable man at covering punts He ie e I I - I I I I . ..
