': 5 H! :if 1399 Homecomung The student body of the St John Hugh School voted Dolores Homan as queen for theur seventh annual home comung 'vlarulyn Thobe was chosen as maud moud of honor whule the attendants were as follows Maruorue Heun Janet Willke and Edna Meuer The queen chose Davud l.ueblce as crown bearer Thus specual event for these Senuor gurls took place on October l6 whule the Blu gays played a hard game agaunst Bradford At the half tume of thus game Urban Bertke and Leroy Puekenbrock A9 'Q I1 -,Q F-Hl ' 1 drove the blue and lught green oonvertu bles slowly to the center of the fueld The Amerucan leguon formed a company front before the St John stands whule the band formed an honor guard and played Haul to the Queen Whule the band wc: playung thus song the queen was escorted onto the fueld by Captaun Robert Clune Co captaun Vurgul Will escorted Marulyn Thobe Mauruce Cron escorted Maruorue Heun Mark Gruesdorn escorted Janet Wullke and Edna Meuer was escorted by Dennus Heutkamp to a semu curcle un front of the St John stands Here Bob Clune crowned Queen Dolores and bestowed on her a kuss Vurgul Wull then presented the flowers a bouquet of whute gladuolu centered wuth a removable corsage of two gardenuas and also a kuss The moud of honor and attendants also had a corsage of one gardenua the class flower The queen and her court were then ushered to the stands to watch the last half of the game After the game the homecomung party went wuth unduvu dual fruends to the dance un theur honor whuch was held at Kemper s Grove The dresses worn by the gurls were all balleruna length The queen wore whute whule Varulyn chose dark green Marlorue chose yellow Janet an Amerucan beauty red and Edna a pretty punk 52 'JZ A u .
