I stopped un at the restaurant for a cup of coffee Lavern Kramer walked un Talkung to hum he unformed me that he was very successful bemg the owner of the Twrsty Twust Ptetzel Co and hus secretary was Edna Nleuer Druvung along I turned on the raduo and two gurls started srngung theur theme song, I Lost My love un 53 It was those sensatuonal Dove Susters, formerly Esther Vehorn and Marulyn Tlwobe I notuoed I was un Ft Recovery and my gas gauge showed empty Istopped at a lovely famuhouse to get gas A famlluar woman came out and I recognuzed her as Ruth Ann Goecke She told me that she was a very happy wufe and mother and marrued her husband un l957 She unvuted me un for a vusut Whule there, I glanced at the newspaper and saw that The Case of the Mussung Door Knob was playung at the local theatre Readung further, I notuced an artucle about the author of thus story who turned out to be Poulune Feltz I-eavung Ruth and her husband I started for Dayton by bus Handung the druver my tucket I thought he looked famuluar but I dusmussed the udea Arruvung un Dayton the druver helped me wuth my bags and then I saw that ut was John Vondrell, another graduate of I954 Sunce ut was gettung late I went to the Y M C A to reserve a room for the nught Walkung to my room I bumped unto a slum, dark houred gurl loguzung to her I notuced ut wm Morgue l'Ieun She unformed me that she was assustant manager of the Y M C A Sayung good nught I retured for the day The next momung I took an aurplane to New York After arruvung un New York I decuded to do some shoppung Walkung down 75th Street, I glanced up and saw a sugn that read We Are the Last Ones to Let Our Customers Down Frank s Funeral Parlor propruetor Frank Heutkamp I went un and talked to Frank He told me that Aluce Mae Budde was workung un a famous nute club on Broadway but he couldn remember the name After leavung Frank I took a taxu to Broadway and glanced at the nught club bull board Seesng a glcrnorous blonde odvertused as the Omph Gurl of New York I went un to see her and had a nuce talk wuth Aluce Budde She told me she enuoyed her work very much and gave me tuckets to the nught performance but I couldn't make ut because I had an appountment wuth Janet Wullke Janet unformed tume to talk Next on my lust was Vurgunua Fronung, who has made herself known far and wude as the Notuonal Roller Skatung Chcxnpnon Idudn t have much tume left un New York because I was takung the next traun to Maune Whule un Maune I decuded to look over the fush cannerues and duscovered Mark Gruesdorn packung sardunes un cans at three dollars an hour I-eavung I took a plane for France Boardung the plane I talked to the pretty stewardess Ibsue Heutkamp Whule talkmg to her, she told me the pulot was Paul Feltz Atruvung un fbrus France, I regustered at a hotel and saw Dennus Heutkamp was also regustered there went to hus room and talked to hum He told me he had a very unterestang Iob Every mornung he goes to us boss s storeroom wuth a shovel and turns over hus money I asked hum who the employer was He unformed me ut was hhdonna .lutte Later un the evennng whule eatung dunner un cu French restaurant Walter Budde and Davud Heutkomp entered I unvuted them to eat wuth me and they told me they duscovered one ofthe ruchest wells of oul and have formed theur own oul company They called It the Guper Gusher Oul Company Gettung tured of Europe I decuded to take the next plane to Calufornua Arruvung un Calufornua I called a taxu and we drove out to Hollywood to see the Studuo Whule cruusung along the taxu druver bumped unto the back end of a lumousune Gettung out to unvestugate, we duscovered the lumousune belongs to Irene Mescher, the famous movue sta, starrung un the bug movue, Irene s Nughtmare She told me Earl Schwueterman was her chauffeur and they were on theur way to see Donald Eufert and hus world famous orchestra perform at the Stork Club Don has gust won the tutle of the world famous trumpet player Sunce the Kentucky Derby was tokung place I decuded to go and see at The wunner of the Derby was Black Out Sue and Aluce Ann Hartungs was the .Iockey I talked to Aluce Ann and she untroduced me to her boss who was Bob Clune Havung seen all but two of the class of l954 I decuded to return home On the way I stopped un Munster and there I ran unto Walter Schurmon and Vurgul Wall who are owners of the Regrub Beer Brewery Munster At the next meetung of the school board I reported my fundungs 30 I . , . . . . . . . ., . , .. . . . - . .
