Class Prophecy Class of 1950 The t1me IS 1960 It seems the class of 1950 IS to have a reumon and I was asked to get 1n touch with all the members of that class However thls IS not as easy as It may seem for I fmd that thexr varlous occupatxons have carrled them to all parts of the Umted States In Detrolt I find Marxlyn Wnllke workmg on her secret ambltzon She has a job wxth the F B I and IS now asslgned to a murder case whlch occurred about three years ago Her job IS to dxg up the v1ct1m and find out lf he was really kllled by arsemc pmsomng As I pass through the courthouse an thls city I see wrxtten on one of the doors Tom .I Gast Prosecutlng Atfornev I stopped 1n tn see hnw Tnm was dmng and hp +gIA uc gf h1s fxrst case It happened to be hxs former teacher Mr Barr who dxdn t get off very easy because there IS now a Barr behxnd bars New York C1ty seemed to be the favorlte cxty ln the eyes of the class of 50 for I flnd several of them located there Just as I arrlved ln New York I read a newspaper head hne whrch really startled me It read Amerlcan Gxrl Swxms Channel I fmd that thzs gxrl xs none other than Irene Broerman Walklng down the street I met B111 Homan who 15 now a Watklns salesman B111 1m medxately began h1s sales talk and asked xf I wanted any sprays to klll bugs ln the garden He says It kxlls the Mama bug the Papa bug the Baby bug Ant bug Jztter Bug and Uncle Bug The only bug xt doesn t kill IS the Love Bug During my stay here I heard that Stan Mescher has just been named offlczal manager of the new P 81 A Cham Store You wxll flnd hxs offxce on the 86th floor of the Emplre State Building New York I-learmg of Marcella Hartmg s success as a beautnclan I decrded to stop at Boston to see how her buslness xs progresslng She seemed very happy and by a strange colncldence I see Tom Budde sxttxng under a halr dryer Hearlng of hxs successful attempt to revxve vaudevllle I stopped to speak wlth hmm Tom sa1d h1s success as a star as because of h1s acting ln class plays and slngmg m Glee Club Owmg to the fact that xt was a busy day for Sally Ithen left wxshmg her more success My next stop IS ln Mxamx Florida Here I find John Flely lwlng a llfe of luxury He owns a large estate and he says he IS really enjoying hlmself When I asked hlm how he could afford to lxve m such a splendid manner he told me about the chewxng tobacco whlch he man ufactured and called Spit No more After leavlng Florida Iwent to Colorado Whlle rxdxng on a crowded bus Iwas readxng a sports magazine On the cover I see a picture of the professxonal basketball player Anna Marxe Baker better known as the ' World s Hottest Basketball Player In her last game she practxcally defeated her opponent self handed as she scored 50 pomts Looking up from the magazine I see a blond gxrl sitting next to me readnng the horse racxng form When she finally land the paper down l see that she I5 Alfrxeda Hausfeld I asked her what she IS dolng in Colorado she tells me that she as runnxng a gamblxng jolnt She says she enjoys all sorts of gamblxng but that playing poker xs her specialty Oh well lalways knew she lxked Poker 35 U on 1 . 1 - 1 1 , . 1 . . 1 . . . . . 4, 1 1 . ,, . . . : .. .
