Father Hathaway HE taslc of selecting and training a group of small boys to serve Mass has been a yearly labor of this zealous priest That the worlc has been successfully done is manifest 1t any big ceremony in the church Surely these lacls are well taught to know God and serve Him During high school Clays these now grown boys form a special company in Gocl s army, with Father Hathaway as their commandtrinchitf Some of the brave young souls among them may give them selves to Christ and His work, for even the mod rn world insists that service IS a sure road to happiness ancl what s r vice can surpass that of Christ? But this training of altar boys is only one of the great privi leges of this noble priest The teaching of religion is his forte, his labor of love. His visits have been bright hours in our high school clays' his contributions to our funcl of learning have been most welcomeg his interest in us and in our worlc is a memory that we shall treasure always.
