In Memory Of Joe Griffin And Mark Murphy Long ago there was this man who cared He cared about everything: laughterftears hopesffears ours fus. He walked across the fields of our discontent up the hills of our hoping down the paths of our dedication through the villages of our loving I-Ie liked it and he smiled. And when he did, something happened: Daisies danced across our fields where before there had been only the bloom of loneliness Birdsongs sang our hills into laughter where before there had been only clouds of sadness. Breezes weaved a cloth of coolness through our villages where before there had been only the suffocating rags of selfishness. Up against the clouds of worry that covered our land, he flung the great singing, shining sun of himself. I-Ie became our hope peace love ivy I-Ie put on our world and wore it like a school boy's new suit. And you know what? It was a perfect fit! Ever since that day that man has had followers and today they are said to be us. But he still has fields to cross hills to climb paths to walk villages to visit and perhaps there is no better way for him to reach them than on our feet no better way for him to see them than through our eyes -no better way for him to touch them than with our hands. X. And, in the midst of it all. Don't be afraid, for I am with you I have called you by your name, you belong to me I own the futureg I bought it with my love I share it with you Share yourself with me and color the days ahead with smiling. x
